The Lambs

A young horror author meets Emma during the promotion of his debut story collection in Belgrade. She praises his imagination — but claims his writing lacks one thing: real experience. To remedy this, she offers him a tour during the final three nights of October. What follows is a descent into the shadows of the city — séances led by enigmatic hosts, nights spent in the decaying yet majestic hotel, where the mediums dwell, strange encounters with the organizers of occult gatherings, and a visit to an exclusive, near-mythical nightclub that seems to exist outside time. Emma delivers what she promised: experience. But what the young author receives is more than he could have imagined — an initiation into something he can neither understand nor escape. A philosophical horror novel exploring the limits of identity, the nature of possession, and what remains of the self after the self is gone.
